DUBAI: The full lineup for the 2022 edition of Coachella, taking place from April 15-17 and 22-24, has been revealed. British singer Harry Styles will join headliners Billie Eilish, Swedish House Mafia and Kanye West at the three-day long festival that will see over 100 performers take to the stage. The headliners will share billing with acts from all over the world, including Palestinian DJ Sama’ Abdulhadi. Often referred to as the “queen of Palestine’s techno scene,” the artist is scheduled to perform on the 16 and 23 of April.
The lineup also includes Lil Baby, Daniel Caesar, Phoebe Bridgers, Big Sean, Megan Thee Stallion, 21 Savage, Danny Elfman, Doja Cat, Joji, Run the Jewels and many more.
Abdulhadi first gained international prominence after a 2018 Boiler Room appearance that amassed more than nine million views on YouTube, making it one of the platform’s most-watched sets to date.
The Ramallah-born musician went on to become one of the most in-demand Arab DJs following her successful Boiler Room set. “The weekend of the Boiler Room, I got 40 booking requests in one day. Before, I would get 20 requests a month, if I was lucky,” she told DJ Mag in an interview.
She went on to play at festivals like Nuits Sonores, IMS and Beyond The Valley.
The artist was scheduled to perform at Coachella in 2020, before the event was canceled due to COVID-19.
