DUBAI: Argentinian model Georgina Rodriguez has been turning heads wearing Arab designers for her latest shoots.

Lebanese designer Rami Kadi shared a picture of the Saudi-based Netflix star this week wearing a holographic sequined and crystal-embellished blue mirage satin gown, designed by the couturier, during her recent shoot with Arab brand Amara Lenses.

Rodriguez took to Instagram to share Kadi’s post, adding the star emoji for the designer.

In March, the model was named ambassador for the brand. “I’m so happy to be the face of Amara Lenses and it’s been wonderful to work with you,” she said in a video shared on the brand’s Instagram page at the time.

Since the announcement in March, the label has been releasing new images of Rodriguez wearing its colored contacts on its Instagram page.

In another post, shared this week, the model wore a white gown by Lebanese designer Nicolas Jebran.

The designer shared videos of Rodriguez on his Instagram Stories this week wearing a sci-fi-inspired dress from his Fall/Winter 2021 collection titled “PlaNetX,” complete with an oversized pullover neckline, full-length sleeves that included gloves and a small train.

The dress was previously worn by Belgian model Rose Bertram at the 2021 Cannes Film Festival.

Rodriguez now lives in Riyadh with her family after her long-time partner footballer Cristiano Ronaldo joined the Saudi Al-Nassr club in January.

The couple have been enjoying their time in the Kingdom. They have visited multiple restaurants, including the Armenian Lavash on The Boulevard for Rodriguez’s birthday and the French fine dining restaurant Le Maschou for a date.

Their children are also learning Arabic. In March, the model shared a video of the two young girls singing in Arabic. “Our daughters already sing in Arabic,” Rodriguez captioned the video in Spanish, tagging Ronaldo.

In a recent statement, Rodriguez said: “Our children study at a fantastic school, with wonderful professionals. We really appreciate the amazing work they do for us as a family, as parents and on a personal level.”
