RIYADH: Gamers8 is set to see the launch of PlayStation Zone and Kids Zone on Wednesday, as part of the world’s biggest esports event.
Organized by the Saudi Esports Federation under the slogan “Your Gateway to the Next World,” the tournament will run for eight weeks at Boulevard Riyadh City.
The PlayStation Zone will showcase 17 electronic games, including FIFA, God of War, PUBG and Gran Turismo, while the Kids Zone will provide a range of family-friendly activities suitable for all ages.
The activities of the two zones will be held in two shifts daily, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. and from 10 p.m. to 1 a.m.
Gamers8 kicked off over the weekend with “Rocket League,” which saw 24 international and local teams battle for a prize money total of $2 million over four days.
