Spotify reveals UAE’s most popular love-themed tracks in time for Valentine’s Day

DUBAI: Ahead of Valentine’s Day, music-streaming platform Spotify has revealed the most popular romantic songs in the UAE.

According to the streaming service, Spotify saw an increase of 280 percent of UAE listeners streaming love-themed podcasts compared to this time last year.

From Celine Dion to Backstreet Boys, here is a round-up of some of the most popular love-themed tracks in the UAE.  

Top five songs streamed in the UAE in the past 90 days:  

1. “This I Promise You” by American boy band NSYNC. 
2. “You’re Still the One” by Canadian singer and songwriter Shania Twain. 
3. “Shape of My Heart” by American group Backstreet Boys. 
4. “How Do I Live” by American singer LeAnn Rimes.
5.  “Because You Loved Me” by five-time Grammy award-winning singer Celine Dion.
