DUBAI: Lebanese design duo Azzi & Osta, loved by US superstar Beyonce, US singer Becky G and American model Jasmine Tookes, announced on Wednesday the launch of their first-ever bridal line.
The collection is titled “New Beginnings” and represents the duo’s venture into tailoring pieces for the modern bride.
The designers will present their new creations at New York New York Bridal Fashion Week, which runs until April 13.
The couturiers have been teasing sneak-peaks into their collection on their new Instagram page, dedicated to their bridal line.
The dresses feature puffy tulle, organza, floral beading and embroidered designs. “Unveiling the first Azzi & Osta bridal ready-to-wear collection. Stay tuned,” they captioned their posts.
The fashion house, which launched in 2010, is a bona fide celebrity go-to for important red carpet events. Who can forget when Beyonce rocked up to the annual Clive Davis Pre-Grammy party in New York in 2018 wearing a black fishtail gown by Azzi & Osta that took 300 hours to create?
Another moment to remember is when US actress Megan Fox wore an emerald green asymmetrical top and matching A-line skirt to the 48th annual American Music Awards in 2020.
The most recent star to champion the brand’s creations is Becky G. She wore a sheer beaded silver gown that was backless and featured a cape to the Vanity Fair Oscars Party in March.
